Darjeeling
Darjeeling is one of the most beautiful places to visit in India. It is a Himalayan city in West Bengal in India. It is a world famous tourist place; people from across the globe are attracted to this awesome place because of its extended tea gardens and weather. It’s an amazing place with many tourists’ spots. It well connected by trains from all parts of India or via flight till Howrah railway station and from there we can get many connecting trains. The transportation within Darjeeling is also very good. There are many taxis and local buses available.
I had been to Darjeeling which is most commonly known as “Queen of Hills”, with my family during my children summer vacation last year. People say that summer is the best season for its weather and it truly was the most memorable experience of my life.
Kanchenjunga Hills
There are many good hotels to stay which can be easily booked through internet or phone. The hotel staffs were very warm and welcoming. The rooms and facilities were more than what we had expected and were very affordable. There were many local spots to visit which we can see with the help of local tourists guide.
We started to explore the place in the early morning hours. We were suggested to see the Kanchenjunga Hills to view the beautiful sunrise. It was a magnificent experience for all of us. Since it was summer season hence there were not many clouds covering the view. After witnessing such a beautiful scene we headed towards other major attractions.
There were many places of interests the National History Museum displaying the rich fauna of the Darjeeling found at different levels of altitude. Then there was the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, it is one of the most unique zoo which is situated at a very high altitude against the glorious back ground of the mighty Kanchenjanga. This zoo is internationally recognized for conserving Snow Leopard and the Red Panda. Apart from these there were many other places to see and enjoy.
Darjeeling is definitely a sure shot place to visit next time whenever you are planning your vacation with your family.
Mumbai – Economy City of India
Mumbai is considered the city of dreams. It is commercial hub and most popular metropolitan city of India. People come here to relive their dreams. It’s the most vibrant and full of fun. This city is always filled with lots fun and many things to explore; it’s never lets you sleep! This is the capital city of Maharashtra where in Hindi and English are widely spoken hence the tourists have no problems in communicating with the local people. It’s famous for the beaches, shopping market and but of course the film city. All the movie stars of Indian Cinema are known to reside here.
Mumbai can easily be reached via train and planes. It’s well connected by all means of transport. The city also has very good local transportation system for the general public and tourists to commute. There are plenty of pre paid and post paid cabs or taxis are available at very reasonable price. One can also choose to commute via local buses which are in very conditions.

Mumbai - The city of Dreams
Mumbai has a lot of attractive places which draws most of the tourists from across the globe to visit. To begin with, the Gateway of India, which is a famous national monument of India. It is a combination of both Hindu and Muslim architectural styles with a significant history to it. Talking about history one can also visit the Elephanta caves, these caves show beautiful rock cut stone cultures, dedicated to Lord Shiva, who is known as the Supreme God of Hindus. Moving from the history to the present, there are many others spots like the Nariman Point, Nehru Taramahal, Mahalakshmi Temple, Haji Ali and the famous Juhu Beach.

The oldest state in India, Bihar also has number of tourist spots and they include Budha Smriti Park, Bodh Gaya, Kesariya Budhist Stupa and Tomb of Sher Shah Suri. India has been frequently visited by foreign tourists from all over the world and is sure to attract tourists in forthcoming years too.
TEMPLES IN SOUTH KOREA
Your visit to any tourist country remains incomplete if you don’t make a visit to at least one of the temples in the country. Built with architectural splendour is the Baekdamsa Temple of South Korea. The Buddhist philosophy preached in the temple brings in more followers every year.
Another most famous Buddhist temple, Bongensa Temple in Seoul, South Korea also attracts more tourists and followers. Their structural beauty is well known from the architectural style followed by the people who built this temple. Haeinsa Temple in South Korea is the most beautiful temple among the Buddhist temples built in South Korea. The scriptures are carved into around 81000 wooden printing blocks and are also known as Three Jewel Temples of South Korea. There are many other Buddhist temples that depict the religious beliefs of the ancient Korean culture.
HISTORIC SITES IN SOUTH KOREA
The city of South Korea offers viewers a number of stupendous historical sites. The historical places are feel good tourist places for those visitors who wish to see some run-off-the-mill places. When it comes to historic places in South Korea, the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind is Andong Icheondong situated over the mountains of Jebiwon. It is a 2.43 meter Buddha statue resting on an engraved stone. Bosingak Belfry is one of the most important historical and tourist place in South Korea. It is the second official treasure located in Jongno, Seoul. Built in 1936, it had four gates and a bell which used to ring 33 times at 4’o clock in the morning and 28 times at 10’o clock in the evening.
One of the oldest structures in South Korea, Cheomseongdae Observatory is still one of the national treasures. Built in 634 A. D by the Queen Seonduk, this still remains the oldest existing observatory in South Korea. Located in the middle of Gyeongju and with more than 25 large and small tombs, Daereung-won Tumuli Park is one of the oldest parks in South Korea and has now become one of the most visited tourist places.
The Gyeonggijeon Shrine in South Korea is one of the oldest historical treasures built in 1401. The main structures of the shrine are built in the middle of pine and bamboo trees. The Heoninneung Royal Tomb, originally called ‘Halmisan’ is one more historical tourist spot in Seoul, South Korea. NATIONAL PARKS IN SOUTH KOREA
The parcel lands in all the countries are now poached and are being transformed into buildings and for other commercial purposes. But South Korea has been stubborn in their decision of not converting their public land into commercial lands. All these lands have been used to construct parks which have also become tourist spots. Around 7% of the country’s land is covered by parks. Most of the parks are situated in the mountains or coastal regions. The National Parks in the country is supervised by Korea National Parks Authority which was established in the year 1987.
The South Korea has almost a dozen of national parks and beautiful serene coastline which attracts millions of tourists every year. The Gayasan National Park which is also known as Kayasan Mountain National park is one of the most notable national parks in South Korea. It was established in the year 1966 and covers about 80000 square kilometres. There are plenty of places in South Korea that are untouched by even the Korean inhabitants and still remain one of the tourist spots. Jirisan National Park is one of a kind. The South Korean Tourism has taken urgent steps to promote these national parks and now they have been developed to rake in tourists like many other national parks.
The Serakosan National Park is one more park which is in the list of national parks available for tourists. The park is located in Serakosan which is the highest mountain in the Taebaek mountain range. Besides these national parks there are umpteen numbers of national parks available in South Korea and their outstanding features make them absolutely stunning and mesmerizing.
