Kenya, the mother of wildlife sanctuaries is located in the Eastern part of Africa is well known for its natural vegetation. One can get to Kenya through Air to Nairobi. Kenya packs a punch not only in the abundance of wildlife and wildlife reserves, but also in the mountains, deserts, and the tribes and of course the coral reefs one would always remember. The capital city of Kenya is Nairobi and the official language spoken there is Swahili, even though a lot of English is spoken there due to the tourist downpour. The currency in Kenya is Kenyan Shilling and dollar is also a well recognized currency even though unofficially. Entering Kenya is easy and certain countries like the Commonwealth countries and Uganda need not acquire any visa.

The Kenyan climate is mixed. The western plateaus of Kenya receives rainfall throughout the year and the central mainland is of tropical climate .Kenyan sightseeing mostly comprises of wildlife safari. The main tourist season is in the months of January and February when the land is the driest. The Hell’s Gate National Park, Kaka mega rainforests, Rift Valley and Jade Sea are tourist attractions that are not wildlife safaris. The Tsavo National park and the Marine National park hosts the most famous wildlife safaris where one can see almost all kinds of wild animals without a camera. Kenya is not recommended to visit without a thorough research or visited through a reputed travel agent for the reason there is a lot of crime rate around the tourist spots. Hence, safety is always a concern one needs to consider if to opt for an adventurous expedition. The people of Kenya are very friendly and are a cross cultural society. Even though the people are good natured one also has to keep an eye for crimes around them. Other than that, Kenya is the most wonderful place to visit if one needs an adventurous vacation.
